California's KNBC reports that officials say a 5-year-old boy killed in a DUI crash when his father drove into a pole in Palmdale, California was identified on July 20 and police arrested the father on DUI suspicion.

The boy, a Los Angeles resident, died at approximately 6:15 p.m. on July 19 when the Acura he was a passenger in hit a power pole, causing it to roll over, according to the coroner's office and California Highway Patrol.

According to CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos, 25-year-old Mario Campos, Sr. was arrested for suspected DUI.

The vehicle's other passengers, 24-year-old Daisy Moreno and a 1-year-old girl required transport to a hospital for minor to moderate injuries, according to Villalobos.
