Connecticut's Hartford Courant reports that police say a 19-year-old man crashed into three cars, including a police cruiser while driving under the influence on the morning of July 20.
According to police, a police officer and Johan Concepcion, the driver, required treatment for minor personal injuries sustained in the crash.
According to police, at approximately 1:15 a.m. on the day of the crash, Concepcion lost control of his 1996 Volvo 850, sliding several hundred feet and striking two cars parked on the street. Police say that he was speeding and lost control while going around a curve in the road.
According to police, the impact caused one of the cars to flip over and land on its roof on the sidewalk. Concepcion then collided head-on with a patrolling police cruiser.
Concepcion was charged with DUI, reckless driving, and marijuana possession.
