West Virginia's Charleston Daily Mail reports that the driver of a school bus in Monroe County, West Virginia that plunged into a ravine has entered a guilty plea to a charge of drunken driving (DUI).
As part of the plea agreement with prosecutors, Clyde Watson, Jr. could be facing a two-day prison sentence and a maximum fine of $1,000.
The 62-year-old resident of Union, West Virginia entered the guilty plea on Wednesday, April 23 while faced with charges of driving under the influence with minors in the vehicle.
Approximately a week after the February 5 crash in which Watson drove the bus into a ravine with 11 students on boar, he resigned. None of the children were reported to have been injured.
A date for sentencing has yet to be set.
